Hive samples are tested in aligned registered laboratories where trace impurities are measured. These results are collated into quarterly or monthly reports for the clients which allows for proactive monitoring and actions against collected results relating to local sites and surrounding environments.

Commonly, human led programs collect physical data which has fallible errors, and fixed position sentinel collectors provide data limited to one specific location. Bees have no boundaries within their foraging flight capabilities and therefore returning multiple holistic subsamples to the hive.

The average bee flight path is 5 kilometres, for this reason the expected recording zones are relatively aligned to the impact zones of a relevant and specific sites. Data hives in pairs would ideally be located at designated zones from the actual site centre. This allows for comparative data on, near and outside of the target activity zone.
